The Battle of the Mind

We are in a spiritual war. Everything that happens in our lives is a product of our mindset; in this respect, our minds are the battleground where the fight takes place. We can either give God, or the world and its philosophies, access to the way we think. The victory or defeat or defeat we experience in life begins in our thought lives. The stakes are extremely high in this fight because the one behind the world and its mindset is Satan, who is fighting for control of our minds. Faith in the finished works of Jesus Christ is our most powerful weapon; when the devil whispers his lies and contradicts God’s Word we know we are winning the fight when we are at peace and confident in God’s promises of grace. Resting confidently in what Jesus did on the cross puts the enemy under our feet.
